I, the undersigned player, acknowledge, agree and understand that:

Voluntarily and of my own free will, I elect to participate and/or volunteer as a member of a cricket team and the cricket league - NJSBCL.
I understand that there are certain risks and hazards involved in participating in cricket including, but not limited to those hazards associated with weather conditions, playing conditions, equipment and other participants; in addition to the acts of bowling, throwing, fielding and catching of the ball, batting, swinging of the bat, running, jumping, stretching, sliding, diving and collisions with other players and/or with stationary objects. All of which can cause serious injury or death to self and/or other players or persons on or off the field.
Further, I agree that in consideration for the right to play as a member of the team designated and in consideration permission to play on the field arranged for/by the team or league:
- I voluntarily elect, accept and solely assume all risk of injuries, including but not limited to, minor, major, and/or catastrophic injuries, damages, death, disability, incurred or suffered by me -
  - a) while practicing or playing as a member of the team so designated,
    b) while serving in a non-playing capacity as a team member or observer during practice or play by other teams or by other players on my team, and
    c) while on or upon the premises of any and all of the fields arranged for/by my team or league for practice or play.
- I release, discharge and agree not to sue the team and/or league designated BELOW/ABOVE or any owner/s or lessee/s of field/s, park/s or school ground/s on which cricket is played or practiced by my team, players or the cricket league, or their owners, officers, trustees, umpires, officials, agents, servants, associations, employees, or any person or entity connected with that team, league, field for any claim, damages, costs or cause of action which I have or may have in the future as a result of injuries or damages sustained or incurred by me from whatever cause including but not limited to the negligence, breach of contract, wrongful conduct of the parties hereby released.
- I further agree that I shall hold harmless and fully indemnify the parities hereby released from any claims, damages, costs, including attorney fees, and cause of action which may arise from any claim or cause of action made by me, through me or on my behalf even if damages, injuries or death are caused in whole or part by any of the parties or entities hereby released. entities hereby released.
I expressly agree that this foregoing waiver and assumption of risks agreement is intended to be as broad and inclusive as is permitted by the law of the State of New Jersey and that if any portion thereof is held invalid, it is areed that the balance shall, notwithstanding, continue in full legal force and effect.
I understand that NJSBCL is using CricClubs platform to manage their league. My personal information and cricket records will be used by NJSBCL to promote cricket and send communication. I understand that NJSBCL has entered in an agreement with CricClubs to keep my privacy intact , but in the event of a breach, knowing that CriClubs is a third party platform, I absolve and hold njsbcl harmless from any such instances of breach of any kind.
I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE READ AND THAT I UNDERSTAND EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THE ABOVE PROVISIONS IN THIS WAIVER, RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNIFICATION AGREEMENT AND AGREE TO ABIDE BY THEM.
